 The office of the  Academic Secretary deals with the immigrants, new scientists, who are employed at HUJI in three programs (all of which are partially financed by the Center of the Absorption of New Scientists in the Ministry of Absorption: Web site Ministry of Absorption   : a three-year temporary program, a two-year temporary program known as "Giladi Program" and a long-term employment (until retirement) program known as "Kamea". An appointment in Kamea requires an academic procedure.
