These Regulations regulate the procedures for taking leave for continuing professional development and unpaid leave of the members of academic staff.

The following regulations detail the procedures for appointments and promotions of the academic staff at the Hebrew University. It details the bodies responsible of those procedures, and their operation way.

The  document aims to clarify the rules that apply at the Hebrew University with regard to the filming and recordings of course lectures.

In carrying out research, research workers must be unbiased. Their professional judgment should at all times be exercised independently, and extraneous interests should never be permitted to influence them in any aspect of their research. The University requires disclosure of all interests that are, or might appear, likely to bias research or improperly to influence decisions which can affect its progress. The Hebrew University requires that its research workers adhere to the principles and rules laid out below in all aspects of their research, including: the planning and submitting of research proposals for funding;  generating, documenting, analyzing and preserving data;  appropriating, publishing, sharing and commercializing results.

This procedure regulates the rules for employing relatives in the academic staff

These regulations specify the conditions for admission to post-doctoral studies,  scholarship receiving and defining the status of the trainee and the duration of the study period

The purpose of these Regulations is to ensure that the University is a safe working and study environment, devoid of any sexual harassment or intimidation of a sexual nature. The regulations details what Sexual harassment is, the Commissioner for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment, the procedure for Reporting Sexual Harassment, the procedures, the Bodies in Charge etc.

The Regulations for Research Students present specific issues related to Ph.D. students. However, other Regulations concerning students of the Hebrew University, such as NAHAL (regulations related to studies), tuition regulations, Students' conduct etc. apply to Ph.D. students as well.

Living stipends are granted solely on the basis of academic considerations in order to enable the student to devote his/her time to the conduct of research at the University.

Eligibility Terms in the following regulations.

A teacher who wishes to make reading material accessible to students in the course  will prepare a detailed list of the items included in the bibliography for the course.

The purpose of these procedural Regulations is to regulate the appointment of a Commissioner for Students’ Complaints, his powers and the manner in which they will be exercised.
